New features for the new HR file

This help sheet tells you about the latest features and the new HR file. It will be updated as these features are released. We recommend coming back to check it regularly.

In this sheet, you'll find the latest new features in:

  • HR File
  • Document generation
  • Default values

New features for the HR file:

  • You've probably noticed that you can now click anywhere on the line of a data item to open up the editing pop-up;
  • You now also have a new button that lets you copy the content of a data item;

  • The social security number is now validated for Switzerland and Spain in addition to France;

If the legal unit is in Switzerland or Spain, we first check the number against the Swiss or Spanish rules. If it's invalid, we then check the number against the French rule (for people living near the borders, for example). If the number is identified as invalid again, we'll flag it as an error.

  • We have strengthened the validation and certification of the IBAN, as well as the pre-filling of the BIC and the bank name (feel free to use the IBAN format to ensure the validity of your employees' bank accounts);
  • You can now add an American bank account.

For further information, you can refer to this help sheet on data checks in an international context.

  • We've upgraded the data search (result highlighting, automatic scrolling to the data item being searched for, various bug fixes, section headings, and compound data items);
  • A shortcut lets you open the search (Ctrl+K), and you can also navigate through results using the arrow keys on your keyboard;

  • Widgets are now clickable and let you directly access the information being searched for (employee's current contract, current job assignment and manager, list of supervised employees, and links to their HR files).

New features for document generation:

Over the coming months, you'll also see a number of new features pop up in our document generation module. Here are the initial quick wins:

  • Templates in OpenOffice format (.odt) are now supported;
  • "User" data items now correctly display the last name and first name of the user and no longer the login (ID);
  • Line breaks are now respected for customized tags and multi-row text data items (if the text in your template is justified, don't forget to left-align your tag to ensure that elements are displayed correctly).

For example, this will be more practical for customizing specific clauses in an employment contract (or the details of a job's roles and responsibilities, etc.) :

As a reminder, here's the help sheet summarizing the tags compatible with our document generation module.

New feature for default values:

Lastly, many of you have been asking for the option to define an automatic professional email address generation policy when adding a new employee.

Consider it done. This help sheet explains the steps for setting it up.
