Create and publish a training course

Before you get started

Here you will find the various steps involved in adding a training course to your catalog.

Creating a training course

You have two options for creating a training course:

  • import via an excel file, if you have a lot of training courses to create at once. See the dedicated help page for this option.
  • manually adding, one training course at a time.

For the second option, click on the Administration tab and then Training.

Enter the title and type of training (external or internal)

Fill in all the mandatory fields marked with a red asterisk.
In the case of in-house training, you will need to identify the in-house trainer(s).

Use the formatting options to make training summaries and descriptions more readable for employees:

Publishing a training course


1. Two fields can no longer be modified after publication in the catalog: 

- category

- level

Why? In the future, you will be able to share your catalogue with other Lucca clients in Poplee Training and vice versa (if desired). These fields will then be used as a common basis for training in order to facilitate searches in these catalogues.

2. A published training course can no longer:

  • be returned to draft status if requests are attached to it after publication
  • be deleted from Poplee Training; if necessary you can archive it. It will then no longer appear in the catalog but only in the “Training” administrator tab in “Archived” status.


3. Once published, training courses are displayed in the catalog in the order in which they were created.
