Editing and Visibility rights for the HR file
The viewing and editing permissions for HR file sections are managed via role administration. Refer to this help sheet to find out more.
Career section
Six new permissions have been added to your role settings interface:
- View employee jobs
- Modify employee positions
- View employee managers
- Modify employee managers
- View employee qualifications
- Modify employee qualifications
As their name indicates, when activated, and according to the scope selected, they allow users to view or edit the information associated with the employee's career (their previous, current, and future jobs, their management history, and their qualifications).
Home page
It can only be accessed by managers and administrators, who are often required to access other users' files. To display it, at least one of the following permissions must be activated:
- View employee jobs
- View employee managers
- View employee qualifications
The other standard sections include:
- To edit (or only display) the General information section, you need to activate:
"View employee data in Lucca"
and/or "Edit employee data in Lucca" - To edit (or only display) the Contracts section, you need to activate:
"Consult contractual information of employees"
and/or "Modify contractual information of employees"
Creating a new employee
To create or delete employee files in their interface, you need the "Create/delete employee" permission. You can specify the restriction scope.
Widgets
Widgets display an overview of the employee's situation: their current contract information, their current job title, the name of their manager, or the number of employees that they supervise.
To display them, the role needs to have two permissions activated:
- Consult contractual information of employees
- View information associated with employees' careers
If only one of the two permissions is activated, only the corresponding widgets will be displayed.
Qualifications
The qualification concept appears in the Career section. To display this block, you first need to submit an activation request to our help desk. Once this is activated, in order to view and edit qualifications, the role needs to have the following permission activated:
- Manage qualifications
