Export operation and setup for Thémis by Horloge Huchez

How the integration works

Setting up the integration

You will need to set up a full export in Timmi Absences by following these settings for the file structure:

A full export allows you to export all new data since the last export, with no time limit.
 It is used to export data to a badging system or scheduling tool, for example.

The format is DD/MM/YYYY

- mornings must have the value "Yes"

- afternoons must have an empty value

The format is DD/MM/YYYY

- mornings must have an empty value

- afternoons must have the value "Yes"

Event duration

Event code

- a creation or a delay must have the code "Accepted"

- a deletion must have the value "Canceled"

Be sure to get in touch with your contact at Horloges Huchez to discuss the best way to send them the badging system file. There are several solutions available to you. It is possible to upload the file to an FTP server and automate the uploading of this file.


The connection steps to be completed in Thémis are:

  1. Choice of interface: LUCCA
  2. Directory: Location of the import file
  3. File: Name of file exported by LUCCA
  4. Import frequency: for example every minute, once a day etc.
    This only works if Thémis is running.
    Be careful not to overwrite the file if Thémis has not processed it yet.
  5. Choice during an import conflict:
    - Replace: Replaces all the patterns already present on the day.
    - Add: Adds new patterns to existing ones. If it is the same pattern, it will replace it.
  6. Number of processed files to be backed up
  7. History display filter.
    Note, history is only kept for 6 months, after 6 months it is automatically deleted by closing the import window

Additional settings:

  1. Managing the first line of the file, check if the file has headers.
    by default: Checked
  2. Keyword present in column 8 (Absence status) allowing the absence to be imported.
    by default: Accepted
  3. Import keyword search method
    by default: Starts with
  4. Keyword present in column 8 (Absence status) allowing the absence to be deleted.
    by default: Accepted
  5. Deletion keyword search method
    by default: Starts with
  6. Label to be added in comment box 3 (Optional)
    by default: LUCCA

    Comment box 3 is accessible in the one-day correction window.
    This makes it possible to differentiate imported absences from absences created directly in Thémis.
  7. Adds the import date in comment box 3 (Optional)
    the label is mandatory: label + date
  8. Overwrites annotations already in comment box 3
    by default: unchecked this makes it possible to keep the comments and attach the label to them

Other settings to be made 

  1. The employee must have a Payroll number entered.

Absence reasons to be imported must have a Payroll code entered.
It is also necessary to indicate:

  • If the reason is managed in days (checked) otherwise it is managed in hours (unchecked).
  • If absences are imported on Saturdays and/or Sundays.
    They will be imported taking into account the schedules configured in Thémis.
