The Cleemy card

Before getting started

Permanent Cleemy cards are included in the Cleemy Expenses subscription. Your company needs to have opened a payment account via the Cleemy Payment app in order to access and use this service. The Cleemy Payment app is reserved for managers only. Cleemy cards are company cards which debit payments from the company’s payment account. An employee can view their card information via Cleemy Expenses.

Getting a Cleemy card

Requirements

You can only get a Cleemy card if your company’s payment account managers have authorized you to have one.

Completing your profile

This step is optional if you’ve already completed your profile in Cleemy Procurement.

To get your card, you first need to fill in your personal information and verify your phone number by clicking on "Verify my phone number":

Provide your date of birth, email address, and phone number.

The phone number entered is important as it will be used to validate your online payments.

The final step requires the verification of your phone number by our partner. When you click on "Verify my phone number", you’ll be redirected to our partner’s interface and you’ll also receive a text message. Click on the link in the text message and select your payment validation method (Code, FaceID, TouchID, etc.),

All that’s left is for your company’s account managers to activate your card.

Viewing your card information

You’ll receive a notification email when your card is available, and you’ll be able to find its information in your Cleemy Expenses web app:

You can then use your card as a virtual card (online payments) and with Apple Pay and Google Pay (contactless payments). To add it to your Wallet, you just need to click on "View numbers" and enter the information on your phone in the Google Pay app (for Android users) or in Cards (for iOS users).

Now, you can easily use your card to pay for your work expenses and then submit them in Cleemy Expenses. Refer to our help page to find out more about submitting expenses paid for using Cleemy cards.

Physical card

There are two options for getting the physical version of your card.

1 - Your account manager has already had the card sent out to you. In this case, you’ll be notified in the "Payment Card" interface in Cleemy Expenses:

 

2 - You can have your card sent out to you if you think that you need it, providing your delivery address. The delivery information for your card will be available in your interface.

Once you’ve received the physical card, in order to use it without any restrictions (online, contactless, etc.), you’ll need to activate your card via Cleemy Expenses.

If you think that you’ve potentially lost your Cleemy card or that it may have been stolen, you can temporarily lock the physical version. You’ll still be able to use the virtual version.

If your card has actually been lost or stolen, ask your account manager to block your card. You can then get a replacement card.
