A flexible full-time employee works the same number of weekly hours as a regular full-time employee in less than 5 days a week. They accrue the same number of paid leave as a regular full-time employee.
How the count works
Flexible full-time with one day not worked
If the full-time employee does not work one day per week, when they request leave the day before the day they do not work, Timmi Absences will count it.
Example
A flexible full-time employee does not work on Wednesdays.
If they request leave on Tuesday, Timmi Absences will count 2 days: Tuesday and Wednesday.
Flexible full-time with one half-day not worked
If the flexible full-time employee does not work half a day per week, when they request leave on the half-day worked, Timmi Absences will count the whole day.
Example
A flexible full-time employee does not work on Wednesday mornings.
If they request leave on Wednesday afternoon, the entire day of Wednesday is counted.
In particular, if the day before a flexible working time morning is set, then the flexible working time morning is not counted. It will be counted if it is taken on the afternoon of the day with the flexible working time morning, as seen in this last example. Here, if the employee submits a request for Tuesday, only Tuesday is counted.
Edit the count
I would like the day not worked by a flexible working time employee to never be counted.
Go to the settings area of their work cycle and indicate their day not worked as a day off instead of flexible working time. Therefore, it will no longer be counted as a business day when the leave is taken.
I would like to have the Paid leave counted, but not the Comp days.
For flexible full-time, all accounts have the same behavior.
To have a different behavior for each account, it is recommended to set the work cycle to part-time. It is enough to edit the mode of the work cycle. This will be visible to your employee (the term "part-time" is only visible in the work cycle configuration space).
The count will then be based on the Part-time setting of the account categories that allows you to choose the count mode.
