Setting up office maps

Before you get started

Timmi Office is Lucca's remote work and flex office management solution. This page describes how to set up and edit your company's office maps.

Logging in to map administration

First, you must have created one or more floors. If you have defined zones, you must also assign the right floor to each zone.

Then go to Settings -> Office maps.

Setting up the maps 

Select the relevant site and floor and import the corresponding maps.

  • Map import format: png or jpeg recommended.
  • File size should be less than 2 MB and ideally less than 1 MB to optimize map loading times.

Choose a zone and then click on "Define location". Using the cursor, trace the outline of the zone until you get back to the starting point, then click on "save". 

Repeat for each zone on the floor, and for each floor.

The maps are now configured. Users will be able to enter their zone from the drop-down list or from the office map.

It is strongly recommended that you always keep the same image size for the office map. This way, if you want to make a change on the map, all you have to do is upload the new image and the zones will always be in the same place. If the image size changes, all the zones will need to be repositioned on the map.
