Managing roles in Poplee Training

Before you get started 

Poplee Training is a tool enabling you to publish training courses in the catalog, manage requests and manage your training plans. To do this, it is important to set the permissions that everyone involved will have once the catalog is online.

As an administrator, you may need to organize these roles yourself, directly in the database.

How?

Access to Poplee Training is managed from role administration. To access it, go to the Lucca settings cog wheel, then Roles and permissions.

Default settings

Administration

Administer Poplee Training

Go to the request management module

Access the report module

Catalog

View the catalog

View training requests > All departments

Create and edit training requests > All departments

Create non-catalog requests > All departments

Prioritization

Define/edit and reject training requests > All departments

As a manager, on a secondary role:

Catalogue

View the catalog

View training requests > User + Supervised employees

Create and edit training requests > User + Supervised employees

Create non-catalog requests > User + Supervised employees

Prioritization

Define/edit and reject training requests > Supervised employees

As an employee, on a secondary role:

Catalogue

View the catalog

View training requests > User

Create and edit training requests > User

Create non-catalog requests > All departments

As an internal trainer, on a secondary role:

My trainer area

Access my internal training tracker
