Before you get started
Whether it's during an interview campaign or a simple progress review during the year, you can create new goals for an employee. This permission, set by the administrator, is usually assigned to managers.
A goal consists of the following (minimum requirement):
- a title
- a period
- an assigned employee
You have the option to add steps, as well as step percentages if necessary. By default, Poplee proposes 3 steps, i.e. 75%, 100% and 125%: although this is customizable, it is meant to help you accurately describe the goal you want to assign. By imagining what 125% of the goal would look like, you can more accurately define the steps that would get you to 100%.
To describe the goals, do not hesitate to use the S.M.A.R.T. method, i.e.:
- specific
- measurable
- attainable
- realistic
- temporally defined
