Archiving a data item

Before getting started

After a few months of using the Poplee Core HR solution, you might want to tidy up your data or simply delete a data item that is no longer useful to you. 

First and foremost, it's important to note that you cannot permanently delete a data item, but you can archive it. Here's a guide to help you do this. 

Archiving a data item

First, go to the data management menu (Settings > Data management).

This menu will let you search in a complete list of data found on your platform. This includes data created at the time of the solution rollout and any data created since. 

If you want to archive the first data item that we can see here, "Transportation subscription", you simply need to click on the corresponding button on the right-hand side of the screen. 

Reactivating an archived data item

Once the operation has been completed, don't worry if you change your mind—you can always pull the data item back up and activate it again. To do this, just click on the "Display archived data" button at the top of the data list. The data will then appear at the bottom of the list.
