Before getting started
Lucca Faces is an app that we created in 2018. It takes the form of a fun quiz and helps users get to know their colleagues.
How does Lucca Faces work?
It couldn't be simpler: once you've activated the app, you can start a game at any time via the Lucca Home or via the application banner.
A game consists of a series of 10 photos of your colleagues, selected at random. The aim? To put a name to their face and score as many points as you can!
Please note: the app complies with the visibility rights of each user, as defined in their role.
Each correct answer earns you a number of points, which varies according to how quickly your responded.
Your best score will then be added into your company's scoreboard:
What are the prerequisites?
Lucca Faces requires the Poplee app. If you don't have it yet, check it out here!
You also need to have a minimum number of users (more than 40 to access the 10-question quiz). The app uses users' photos, so it's important to have as many photos uploaded to Lucca as possible.
Lastly, employees' gender needs to be entered if you want the app to offer answer choices that align with the gender of the person to be guessed.
How to reset scores
The "Reset scores" permission needs to be activated in the role administration.
If the permission has been activated, you can click on "Reset scores" to reset the results of all employees to 0.
How to install Lucca Faces
You can install it by yourself via your Lucca store. Just click on the rocket icon at the top-right of your screen.
Then, you just need to add the permissions to the desired populations.

FAQs
Why does my quiz have fewer than 10 questions?
To have a set of 10 questions, you need to have at least 40 users with photos.
Why is it giving me choices with women's names for a photo of a man (and vice-versa)?
Lucca Faces complies with users' visibility rights. If you don't have permission to see the gender of your colleagues, we can't distinguish between male/female in the answer choices. To resolve this, you can add the "Male/Female" data item to a section in the HR file which is visible to all, or in the Who's who.
