Postponing an onboarding procedure following a new contract start date

Before getting started

An employee's arrival date can be postponed for various reasons. If you've already launched the onboarding for this employee, the due dates for tasks will not be automatically updated.

You then have two options.

Updating them manually

If there aren't many tasks involved, you can edit the due dates manually by clicking on the "edit" icon for the task.

If there are a lot of tasks, you can use the second option instead, which consists of stopping the current onboarding procedure and starting a new one.

Launching a new onboarding procedure

First of all, you need to stop the procedure initially launched.

Stopping the procedure requires you to delete all of the pending tasks. The task owners will be notified of this deletion by email

Once the procedure has been stopped, you can find it in the "Archived" section. You then have the option of starting a new procedure, which will create tasks, taking the new contract start date into account.

Relaunching an onboarding procedure will trigger the sending of a new email, which we recommend that you customize in order to let the future employee know why they're receiving it again.

This relaunch will also trigger the creation of all of the tasks, whether or not they had already been completed in the previous procedure. You can then remove them from the list before launching the procedure.

You can identify the tasks already completed by accessing the previous procedure.
