Before getting started
This help page explains how to manage sick leave for an employee in Timmi Absences.
1- Enter an absence to be justified
The employee was not present today, but you don't yet know why? To make sure that you don't forget to process this absence, note it as an "Absence to be justified" in the "Schedule management" module of Timmi Absences:
2- Remind the employee via Timmi Absences
Has the employee still not informed you of the reason for their absence? Remind them by sending an email reminder via the "Pending tasks" module:
3- Reclassify the absence as a sick leave
Did the employee tell you the reason for the absence? Click on Requalify via the "To do list" module in Timmi Absences:
You can now indicate whether the absence is due to illness, comp day or another reason. In the event of sick leave, you can notify your payroll manager using the drop-down menu:
And complete the sick leave information sheet:
4- Add a sick leave to the employee's absence
If it's a sick leave absence, you can add the employee's sick leave certificate directly, before saving. Your payroll manager will then be able to retrieve it easily.
