Problems | Solutions / points to check |
The distribution process is stuck at the "Download" step |
- The file format is incorrect: check the file extension. Only PDF files or the compression of PDF files are allowed - Check that the file is a native, editable PDF and not a payslip image saved as a PDF: Solution: open the file, select the character string containing the last name and first name, and copy it into a notepad: the last name and first name number must be readable. |
The distribution process is stuck at the "Analyzing" step |
- a password protects the PDF document: Pagga Payslip cannot extract and divide up the contents of the file. - the protection level of the PDF file does not permit the contents of the file to be extracted. Solution: generate a new PDF file without password protection and check that the protection level permits the following operations (FilePropertiesSecurity): Content copy. |
Unrecognized pages, no association is offered | - Check that the "last name" and "first name" data of the employee are correctly entered in the content of the PDF document and in the employees' file. - Check that the file is a native, editable PDF and not a payslip image saved as a PDF: Solution: open the file, select the character string containing the last name and first name, and copy it into a notepad: the last name and first name number must be readable. |
Recap of the Pagga Payslip requirements
1- The content of the file to be distributed must be a file natively generated in PDF from the source application rather than an image converted to PDF. The copy-paste test of the content on a notepad can detect this case.
2- The PDF file must not be password protected
3- The contents of the file must not be encrypted. Here again, the copy-paste test is used to check that the content of the file is readable in a notepad.
4- The protection level of the file must permit the copying of the content. Check the properties of the file: FilePropertiesSecurity menu.
5- It is possible to import a compressed folder containing the files provided that they meet the requirements listed above.
