Lucca and the GDPR

Background information

At Lucca, we did not wait for the GDPR to ensure your data remains confidential and secure. However, this regulation strengthens some of our obligations. Therefore, we have taken every step necessary to ensure our compliance.

Actions taken by Lucca

If you are a Lucca client, then we are your subcontractor. As such, we are committed to respecting our obligations as defined in article 28 of the GDPR. Consequently, we brought ourselves into compliance with the articles of the GDPR by naming a Data Protection Officer (DPO) who can be contacted at rgpd@lucca.fr.

Your obligations as data controller

You manage the personal data of your employees using our solutions.

Consequently, your employees have rights over these data. It is your responsibility to allow them to exercise these rights. Lucca’s solutions help you to fulfill this obligation.

Lucca’s commitments as a data controller

We may need to collect and process personal data in order to manage our clients, suppliers and prospects, as well as to fulfill our contracts with our clients.

In particular, we use some personal data of our solutions’ administrators (name, work email, role) to communicate with them and to provide maintenance and functional support services, as well as information on upgrades and news for our solutions.

Administrators can disable receipt of this information, but if they do, they risk not being fully informed of all Lucca solution features.
