Monitor payroll and workforce developments

Before you get started

The Pagga Compensation Dashboard is a tab typically intended to HR administrators.

Access to this interface is conditional upon activation of the "View Dashboard" permission in role administration.

Users with this permission can view the total amount of each indicator for the establishment(s) associated with their role.

Indicators calculated in real-time

The Pagga Compensation Dashboard provides a macro view of your organization's pay and workforce developments, based on 3 key indicators:


 Clicking on the icon(?) at the top right of the chart displays the definition of each indicator.

  • Total payroll: sum of fixed and variable remuneration received by an establishment's employees. These are the gross components of pay, i.e. before calculation of social security charges.

This indicator is broken down into monthly or annual views for the current period (projected) and the 2 previous periods, and displays the calculation of the variation between the last 2 periods.

  • Workforce: overall workforce or full-time equivalent workforce (ETP).

The overall workforce is available in monthly or annual view, and counts all employees with an active contract on a given date. Each employee is counted as one unit, regardless of their working hours:

- today's date, for calculations "today"

- end-of-month date for monthly calculations

- December 31 for annual calculations

The ETP workforce is also available on a monthly or annual basis. The ETP calculation is based on the work cycle assigned to each employee to weight the workforce. An employee working at 80% part-time will count as 0.8. The ETP also includes the impact of arrivals/departures during the period, in which case we apply prorating based on business days of attendance over the period to determine ETP.

  • Average and median monthly pay:

The average monthly pay is calculated by dividing the monthly payroll (the sum of fixed and variable items for a given month) by the total workforce for the month in question.

The median monthly pay corresponds to the value of gross monthly remuneration (fixed + variable) where half the employees in the population concerned earn less and the other half earn more.

The annual view is used to display the indicator calculated for the last completed month of the year N-1 and N-2.

Note: Pagga Compensation does not allow the consolidation of pay values in different currencies. The establishment selector displays the associated currency symbol to specify the scope of calculation for pay-related indicators.


Your last selection will be retained and suggested by default the next time you view the Dashboard.

Justified calculations

The amounts calculated for each indicator can be clicked on to display details of the values included when calculating the indicator.

A link allows you to download the detailed list of values as an Excel file.

The detailed view of individual pay included in the calculation of the indicator is filtered according to the rights set on the "View individual situations" operation. You will not be able to view the details of individual situations beyond the scope defined by this permission.

For example, the configuration below allows you to view dashboard indicators for all companies, but access to the details of individual values will be restricted to the scope defined on the "View individual situations" permission. In this case, the download function for details in Excel is not available.
