Before you get started
Access to Timmi Absences is managed from role management. To access this, go to the Lucca settings cog wheel icon and then to Roles.
This table lists all the permissions relating to Timmi Absences.

The user can access the home page within the defined scope and the pre-defined report showing their team balance if their scope is other than User. |
Submit and cancel a leave request |
|
This permission allows you to submit and cancel leave within the defined scope (accounts and users). |
Read absences |
|
This permission gives access to the Schedule tab for the defined scope. |
Show details of leaves |
|
This permission allows you to identify the type of absence in the Schedule tab (Sick Leave, Paid leave etc.) for the defined scope of users. |
Select approver |
|
This permission allows you to select an approver other than the one defined by the approval workflow when the leave is requested. Users in the defined scope can be selected via a drop-down menu in the leave allocation window. |
Approve requests as a substitute for |
|
This permission allows absences to be approved by someone other than the direct manager, depending on the selected scope. If permission is selected, the tab will remain permanently visible. The permission also activates the "Pending tasks" tab if the scope is defined as "supervised employees". |
Enter a compulsory leave |
|
This permission activates the Schedule management Manage absences tab, for the defined user and account scope. |
Delete a leave |
|
This permission allows you to delete an approved absence within a specific user scope. |
Enter a sick leave |
|
This permission activates the Schedule management module with additional features to meet the requirements of the DSN. |
Export to DSN (French specificity) |
|
This permission allows you to export the entered sick leave to the payroll software DSN module. |
Credit an absence account |
|
This permission allows you to credit and debit leave entitlement for a specific user or users (department, profile etc.), within the specified scope of accounts. It also allows you to activate certain tasks in the "Actions to be taken" module: Supporting documents to be collected, Unusual debit balance and Adjustments to be made |
Credit recurring leave entitlements |
|
This permission activates the extra days for splitting paid leave, seniority and monthly entry (recurring leave) modules. |
Read accounting lines |
|
This permission activates the accounting entries report (all debits and credits made to the accounts) to be viewed. |
Manage employee departure |
|
This permission gives access to the Employee settlement module, which allows the employee balances to be settled in the event of leaving the company or end of contract. |
Configure the exports |
|
This permission allows you to configure a payroll export (file format etc.) and badging system export. |
Generate exports |
|
This permission allows you to generate a payroll export and badging system export. |
Manage leave synchronizations |
|
This permission allows you to create and configure new synchronizations between Timmi Absences and third-party tools (Outlook, Google Calendar etc.) |
Consult leave synchronizations |
|
This permission allows you to view the synchronizations that have been set up without being able to edit them |
Entitlements import |
|
This permission gives access to three different modules, allowing you to batch import absences or leave balances and compare Timmi Absences balances with payroll balances. |
Configure |
|
This permission gives access to the Timmi Absences general settings (add a new account, general settings etc.). |
View and manage supporting documents of absences (if setting enabled) |
|
This permission only has an impact when the "Supporting documents management" setting (available in Settings Preferences Settings) is in the "Depending on the permission to View and manage supporting documents" status. |
Participate in time savings campaigns |
|
This permission gives access to participation in campaigns defined in the regulations, within the defined user scope. |
Manage time savings campaigns |
|
This permission gives access to campaign monitoring (notifications, reminder, participation status) and the option to participate in campaigns instead of users, by overriding defined rules (thresholds etc.) |
Create and save reports |
|
This permission allows you to create and save balance, absence and statistics reports, within the specified scope. |
View dashboard |
|
This permission allows you to view the leave and absence dashboard (predefined graphical reporting) for authorized establishments for the relevant role. |
Please note, some permissions have an impact in Timmi Absences but are shared with other applications. These are therefore in Lucca permissions:
- The Declare days off / worked permission in the Lucca section gives access to the Schedule management Manage days off tab in Timmi Absences.
- The Access to import modules permission in the Lucca section is required to disable the automatic crediting of seniority rules.
