Manage working or non-working days for one or several employees

Background information

In this article, we will cover the steps for:

  • Indicating that a day that is normally worked is a day off
  • Indicating that a day that is normally a day off is a working day

Defining a non-working day (day off)

If you want to give your employees a day without requiring them to use leave, it must be set as a non-working day. Go to Manage the schedule > Manage days off and follow the steps below:

  1. Click on manage days off for one employee or a group of employees
  2. Select the date(s) you want
  3. Click to indicate that the day(s) are days off
  4. Select the people who must be informed of this entry

Defining a working day

If one of your employees is working on the weekend or on a public holiday, you can also indicate this in Manage the schedule > Manage days off and follow the steps below:

  1. Click on manage days off for one employee or a group of employees
  2. Select the date(s) you want
  3. Click to indicate that the day(s) are working day(s)
  4. Indicate whether these working days will result in TOIL by clicking on ‘Credit time’
