How the Napta connector works and how to set it up

How the integration works

  • Solutions involved: Core HR and Absences 
  • Integration type: API
  • Direction of integration: Lucca to Napta (Paid - request a quotation from Napta)
  • Integration frequency: Daily
  • Setting up the integration: You cannot activate the connector yourself. Please contact your CSM at Napta.

Synchronized data

As part of the data synchronization process, Napta will retrieve the following data:

  • Information relating to employee data:
    • Employee's last name
    • Employee's first name
    • Employee's email
    • Employee's department
    • Employee's job title
    • Contract start date
    • Contract end date
  • Information relating to the employee's absences:
    • Start date of the absence
    • End date of the absence

Setting up the integration in Lucca

To set up the integration, go to your Lucca space:

  1. Click on the little rocket icon at the top right of your Lucca space
  2. Select the "🔌Integrations" field
  3. Search for the relevant application
  4. Follow the instructions to install your pre-configured API key
    The technical contact should be the email address of your contact for the software company.
    The API key will automatically be created with the permissions required to set up the integration
  5. Send the API key generated and the URL to the software company by following the steps above

If you don't see the "Install" button in step 4, it's most likely because you don't have the "Manage applications" permission in Lucca. Please add it or request assistance from the Lucca help desk to complete this process.

Connection steps to be completed in Napta

You'll need to contact your Napta representative to set up the connector.

Testing the integration

📖 If you want to test the integration, you can generate a key for your test database by following the same procedure, as explained above. 
Please consult your representative at the software company to find out how to organize the testing of their integration in your Lucca space.

Adding data to connectors

💡If you'd like to add/edit the integration data, please contact the software company directly to assess the feasibility and any associated costs. Lucca is not in a position to speak on behalf of the software company in these respects. 
Once this change has been made, we advise you to create a section with the dedicated data and then add, under the API key's Employees permissions, the permission "View HR files" and select that section.
