Removal of the non-visible preparation feature

To improve the review management process, we've removed the two options that restricted the visibility of review preparations. These options meant that it was possible for only the employee under review to view their responses.

These options were confusing and didn't meet your requirements. Plus, they couldn't be edited once a campaign had been launched.

We believe that employee preparations are essential in order for reviewers to better prepare for reviews. This is why we've decided to simplify the process by removing these options.

How it worked before the removal:

These options were found in the "Process" step, in the "Preparation" and "Third-party approval" sections.

  • Preparation section:

If the box was unchecked, the preparation completed by the employee could only be viewed by that employee.

No other users, including the reviewer, administrators and people authorized to view the review, had access to the preparation (including in exports).

  • Third-party approval section:

If the box was unchecked in this section, the preparation completed by the employee was not visible to the approver.

If the box in Third-party approval was checked, the approver could view the preparation, even if it was not visible in Preparation.

How it works now

Campaigns that have already been launched with this option will retain the feature and the preparations will only be visible to the employee.

However, if you duplicate a launched campaign or you have a draft campaign with non-visible preparations, this option will no longer be available. You'll be notified when launching the campaign that the initial settings have been edited (see image below).
