Pyrescom 🤝: A solution for collecting and processing data

How the connector with Pyrescom works and how to set it up

This integration was developed by Pyrescom.

How the integration works

      • Solution involved: Timesheet

      • Integration direction: Pyrescom to Lucca
      • Integration frequency: In real time (as soon as the employee clocks out)
      • Setting up the integration: You cannot activate the connector yourself. Please contact your CSM at Pyrescom

Synchronized data

As part of the data synchronization process, Pyrescom will share the following data:

    • Time entries for hours worked

It will also retrieve the following elements of employees' data:

    • Employee's last name
    • Employee's first name

Setting the integration up in Lucca

1. Preparing Lucca Timesheet profiles

To activate the badging system option on your employees' timesheets, go to Settings > Time entry options > Prefilling feature > select "No prefilling - virtual badging system".

The timesheet will initially be empty and it'll be completed progressively as the badging system sends the time entry data. Employees cannot edit time entries sent from the Skiply badging system. They can add time entries manually (for days they did not work on site or if they forgot to clock in or out). These manual time entries will be displayed differently and can trigger a warning for the attention of the approver.

2. Creating an API key

To set up the integration, go to your Lucca space:

  1. Click on the little rocket icon in the top-right of your Lucca space
  2. Select the "🔌Integrations" field
  3. Search for the relevant application
  4. Follow the instructions to create your preconfigured API key
    The technical contact should be the email address of your contact person at the publisher's.
    The API key will be automatically created with the permissions required for the setup of the integration.
  5. Send the API key generated and the URL to the publisher, following the steps above.

If you don't see the "Install" button in step 4, it's most likely because you don't have the "Manage applications" permission in Lucca. Please add it or ask the Lucca help desk for assistance to complete this process.

You'll need to contact your Pyrescom representative to set up the connector

 

To set up the link between Lucca and Pyrescom, you need to obtain the employee's login details, which are accessible in the URL of their Lucca user file.

 

FAQs 
My employee forgot to badge out when they left
If two successive clock-ins are recorded for the same employee, the second
clock-in automatically generates a clock-out and a new clock-in
for the same time.


My employee clocked in and out several times in a row within X minutes
In this case, the badging system will display an error message to say that the clock-ins and clock-outs are too
close together, and the system will not record the second reading.

Integration testing

đź“– If you wish to carry out tests, you can generate a key on your test base by following the same procedure as explained above. Please contact your contact at the publisher to find out how to organize tests of their integration on your Lucca space.

💡If you wish to add / modify integration data, please contact the publisher directly to assess feasibility and associated costs. Lucca is not in a position to comment on these aspects on behalf of the publisher. Once this modification has been made, we advise you to create a section with the dedicated data and, in the Co-workers permissions of the API key, to add the permission “Consult HR file” then “select the relevant section.
