5 tips for encouraging employees to complete the schedule

So, you’ve just set up Timmi Office and your employees are getting to grips with it.
Here are our top five tips for making sure that your schedule is correctly completed.

  1. Communicating about the new tool
If this hasn’t been done already, officially present the solution (a demo, a training session or at least a launch email). Explain how and why the tool is useful for everyone, go through the features and take the opportunity to remind employees of your remote working rules.
Don’t forget future hires and turn the presentation of the tool and your rules into a step in the onboarding process.

  2. Invite your employees to complete their standard week.
In the preferences, each employee can determine their standard week. By clicking on the sunshine icon, the week is then completed automatically. You can always edit it (within the limits of the profiles configured).
  3. Set up completion reminders in Slack or Teams
Thanks to the Timmi Office integration with Teams and Slack, each employee can set up an automatic reminder to complete their schedule:
    - Weekly (recommended): When a day for the next week hasn’t been completed, a reminder is sent to the employee at 4.00 p.m. on the Friday.
    - Daily: Monday at 8.30 a.m. for the same day if it hasn’t been completed, then at 4.00 p.m. for the next day. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 4.00 p.m. for the next day.
  4. Get managers involved
Managers can see their teams’ schedules at a glance. You can also create groups, according to your organization or your projects.
If the schedules aren’t all completed, you can easily send a reminder to everyone from the dashboard. Managers only have access to their teams.
  5. Download the mobile app
