Creating your API key
To set up integration, go to your Lucca space:
- Click on the little rocket at the top right of your Lucca space
- Select the "🔌Integrations" field
- Search for the relevant application
-
Follow the instructions to create your pre-configured API key
The technical contact should be the email address of your contact person for the publisher.
The API key will be created automatically with the permissions required to set up the integration. - Follow the steps below to send the API key generated and the URL to the publisher
If the "Install" button does not appear in step 4, this is may be because you don't have the "Application management" permission in Lucca. Please add it or ask the Lucca help desk for guidance on how to do so.
The connection steps to be completed in SkillUp
To set up the connector, you need to contact your SkillUp representative. You will need to provide them with your Lucca URL and API key.
SkillUp will retrieve the same data as that in your Report via the API and then schedule the synchronization. As such, SkillUp will:
- Check that the data to be retrieved from the Report and the API point corresponds
- Create a Lucca <> SkillUp field mapping, which we can check with you
- Set up automation. As with a conventional user database, the data is integrated into SkillUp via a flat file
Integration testing
📖 If you wish to carry out tests, you can generate a key on your test base by following the same procedure as explained above. Please contact your contact at the publisher to find out how to organize tests of their integration on your Lucca space.
💡If you wish to add / modify integration data, please contact the publisher directly to assess feasibility and associated costs. Lucca is not in a position to comment on these aspects on behalf of the publisher. Once this modification has been made, we advise you to create a section with the dedicated data and, in the Co-workers permissions of the API key, to add the permission “Consult HR file” then “select the relevant section.
