How can I take part in a salary review campaign? (Beta version)

Before getting started

This help sheet is intended for compensation request managers and for supervisors involved in a salary review campaign. Compensation request managers are responsible for making proposals, while the supervisors must confirm them before final approval. To find out more about how to set up salary review campaigns, please consult this help sheet.

The role of compensation request managers

As a compensation request manager, you propose new fixed remuneration items for the employees in your scope (defined by the administrator), staying within your budget envelope.

Enter amounts as a value or as a percentage (conversion is automatic and the projected remuneration is updated). Information must be filled in for all employees: enter 0 if the employee is not affected by a change in remuneration.

The grayed-out figures correspond to the campaign administrator's guidelines. Purple indicators will appear if your proposal differs from the guidelines, but this does not prevent you from entering it.

Using the filters, you can display the dashboard in "reconstituted full-time" mode (to compare part-time employees with their full-time colleagues) or to view only those guidelines that have not been followed. You can also display the salary review policy.

By clicking on an employee's line, you can see more details about the employee (link to individual situation, contract, seniority, qualification, etc.) and make an informed decision. Vous pouvez ajouter un commentaire dans la partie "activité", pour contextualiser la valeur d'une proposition.

New proposals and comments are logged in the "Activity" section. This information can be viewed by your supervisor and any other person (assessor, administrator) who has access to the employee within the framework of the campaign.

An informational, non-blocking warning is displayed if the budget is exceeded.

The deadline for submissions is fixed: after this date, you will no longer be able to enter data on the dashboard. You will, however, be able to add comments and reply to supervisors' comments.

The supervisors' role

As a supervisor, you are responsible for the final proposal submitted to the administrator.

To carry out the task of controlling the proposals made by the compensation request managers, you have three views:

  • A view of envelopes by compensation request manager
  • A view of employees, all envelopes combined
  • A graph view

The following actions are available to you:

  • Commenting on proposals
  • Adding/editing a pay rise proposal
  • Marking the proposals to be discussed as "to be justified"/"resolved" using the flags at the beginning of the line:
    • If you disagree with the compensation request manager, mark the proposal as "to be justified" and add a comment to specify the reason why.
    • The compensation request manager is notified in order to enter into negotiations with you and agree on the amount of a proposal.
    • After negotiations, you are responsible for editing the
amount of the pay rise and marking the proposal as resolved.

All edits to proposals and comments added are logged in the activity feed for each employee, and can be viewed by all authorized campaign participants.

Employees with an incomplete pay rise proposal or one marked as "to be justified" will be excluded from the campaign during the final validation of pay rises by the administrator. In addition, once the review phase has expired, you will no longer be able to edit the pay rise proposals.
