Here are the different types of statutory leave in French labor law.
Be aware that the Labor Code is, at the very least, always to be taken into account. If your collective bargaining agreement indicates less favorable conditions, it hasn't been updated.
- Wedding/Civil partnership: 4 days
- Wedding (child): 1 day
- Birth/adoption: 3 days
- Announcement of a child's disability: 5 days
- Sick child: 3 to 5 days depending on the age of the child and number of children, without preservation of salary by calendar year
- Death (child): 14 days
- Child bereavement leave: 8 days (calendar)
- Death (spouse/parent/parent-in-law/brother/sister): 3 days
