Processing a training request from the “Requests to be processed” page

Before you get started

Administrators access the Requests to be processed page using the “Access the requests to be processed module” permission.

“To be processed” tab

The first tab lists all the requests for training courses in the catalog that have not yet been processed by the administrators.

The administrator can see both requests that have already been prioritized by managers and requests pending prioritization by managers.

To process a request, click on the menu to the right of the request and then on “Accept request.” Then select the plan in which to add this request.

Once the request has been added to a plan, it disappears from the list of requests to be processed and you can find it again by going directly to your plan (click on Administration Plan and sessions Select plan Go to the “Requests” tab).

You can also select several requests at the same time, and process them all together to save time.

“Non-catalog request” tab

The second tab lists all the requests to be processed for training courses that are not yet in the catalog (resulting from non-catalog requests made by employees).

The administrator can see both requests that have already been prioritized by managers and requests pending prioritization by managers.

To process a non-catalog request, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Analyze the training course

Using the training URL sent by the employee when they make their request, you will be able to analyze in detail all the information about the training course requested.

At the end of your analysis, you can:

- Option 1: Accept the proposed training course

- Option 2: Refuse the proposed training course

If you accept the proposed training course, it will automatically be created as a draft and you can continue to step 2.

If you refuse the proposed training course, the employee’s request will be refused and you will have no further action to take on the request (no need to go on to step 2).

Step 2: Publish the training course

Once you have accepted and created the draft training course, you need to fill in all the mandatory fields before you can publish it.

As with any training course, you can choose to publish it in the catalog or in the private catalog using the “Visibility” parameter.

Step 3: Process the request

Once the course has been published, the initial request will switch to the first “To be processed” tab on the “Requests to be processed page” as it is now attached to a training course in the catalog.

For the rest of the process, follow the instructions in the “To be processed” tab.

To go further

All requests to be processed can be exported from the “Training requests” report.

The Reports tab can be accessed using the “Access the Reports module” permission.
