Background information
Occupation categories are used in our applications at several levels:
- The filters of your reports ( Timmi Absences, Poplee Performance, Poplee Core HR, Pagga Compensation)
- To set up acquisition rules in Timmi Absences (seniority, time credit ....)
- Personalizing interview campaigns in Goals & Reviews.
- To set up advanced rules for exporting absences ( Timmi Absences)
- To set up data export files ( Poplee Core HR, Pagga Compensation)
Attached to one or more establishment(s), they can group employees according to a universal nomenclature. They allow to identify employees with a similar job, qualification, hierarchical position and status in your organization.
Most often identified in the collective agreements applied in your sector of activity, you can create, modify and/or delete any occupation category you're needed in your Lucca environment.
Create ou modify a category
To create and manage your categories, you have to go to the Occupation categories module, available from the cogwheel (at the top right):
Here, you will find all the categories created , with a general view of establishment map.
Categories are unique, it is not necessary to multiply them by establishment.
Each time a new one is created, the module will ask you for which establishment it should be applied.
You can thus segment your organisation according to the different categories applicable with.
Remove a category
Before removing, please have a look on the users value. You can not remove an occupation category if you have any co-worker associated.
A bin icon on the right hand side will then allow you to delete the obsolete PSC.
Linking a user to an occupation category
To associate a PSC with a user, you must go to Co-workers tabs, select the user concerned, and modify the value from the Contracts tab.
The contract is composed of :
- Contract start date
- Establishment
- Occupation category
- Type of contract: internal or external
- Ending date of the contract
If your employee moves to a catogory from another, we recommend to create a new contract. From a legal point of view, this is an amendment.
From a payroll point of view, the category is not necessarily displayed, but the employee's contractual status must be mentioned on the pay slip, which often includes the notion of executive or non-executive classification.
In any case, when reading the pay slip, the presence of certain contributions dedicated to executives leaves no doubt as to the employee's classification.
Going further
I have admins restricted to the administration of a specific establishment
If you have chosen or set up an administration logic by establishment for your colleagues (Admin FR, Admin GB, Admin SK ....) no problem, the module does not block the administration by establishment. It is a general administration module for your environment.
The rights restricted to one or more of your colleagues' establishments will only apply within the applications (settings, administration of colleagues, filters, etc.).
I cannot see the category I want to associate with my employee
Each category is associated with one or more establishments. When you create or modify an employee, for example in the context of a move between two establishments, make sure that the PSC is associated with the establishment of your choice. So, you would be able to associate it.
I would like to create or modify a PSC but I don't see the module in the cog wheel.
The module is accessible with a dedicated Lucca admin permission.
If you do not see the module entry in your cogwheel, contact your primary administrator so that they can open it for you via the role administration.
